Thermobank’s proprietary energy-efficient hot gas defrost system delivers more refrigeration with lower equipment power, energy consumption, and operating costs than conventional refrigeration packages. The units provide continuous energy savings as outdoor temperatures drop. As temperatures lower, BTU per hour increases and compressor watts decrease resulting in more cooling and less energy usage per operating hour. The fast defrost cycle (approximately 5 to 10 minutes) is refrigerating while competitor models are still defrosting.
These models utilize environmentally friendly refrigerants and include a long list of standard features and optional components. Thermobank units are ideal for supermarkets, refrigerated warehouses, and commercial and industrial applications with temperatures ranging from -30° to +35°F.
