QV-Series Condensing Units™ Excellent New Refrigeration Product
Duluth, GA – July 24, 2018 – Heat Transfer Products Group, LLC (HTPG), manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment sold under the known brands of Russell, Witt, Kramer and ColdZone, was recognized for excellence in product design in the 15th annual Dealer Design Awards Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine. An independent panel of contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 98 entries. HTPG’s QV-Series Condensing Units™ won the Silver Award in the Refrigeration & Ice Machines category. Winning entries in the Dealer Design Awards were featured in the July 23, 2018 issue of The ACHR News. To view the article, visit www.achrnews.com.
“The QV-Series is an evolution in our condensing unit line. The units incorporate innovation from our award-winning Quantum Air™ Condensers with added serviceability and performance features that maximize durability and efficiency,” said Paul Westbrook, HTPG’s director of sales and marketing. “We are very proud of our engineering team and honored to receive a Silver Award by The News,” he commented. “The Dealer Design contest is truly a unique award because it is the only HVACR product competition that is judged by HVACR contractors, which is a true test for how good a product is,” stated Kyle Gargaro, editorial director of The NEWS in the July 23, 2018 dealer design awards article.
“Our team continues to innovate and added several industry-first features on the QV-Series models to make these units easier to install and service, such as the floored and lighted compressor cabinet with removable compressor tray, 110V service convenience outlet, service gauge hooks, separate high and low voltage control panels, and hinged and removable access panels,” said Westbrook. These features were in response to feedback received during our two-year design process and “voice of the customer” method to identify key features and enhancements most requested by our customers and their service technicians.
QV-Series Condensing Units also integrate a floating coil design, swept wing fan blades, hinged venturi panels, and a LED lighted control panel—unique features from the Quantum Air Condensers. Models are available in single, dual or parallel compressor configurations from 15 to 100 HP. The units are compatible with multiple refrigerants and come in flooded and non-flooded versions. These vertical air flow units are manufactured to last and are easy to customize to meet the needs of the food processing, industrial cooling and warehousing industries.
